For a more detailed discussion of the three-year, international, postgraduate course by Massimo Mangialavori, please read the seminar report published in this same issue of 'Links'. These notes of the second session have been recently released. The notes include cases for which the intake is printed completely, followed by a discussion of the analysis, the follow-up, and a detailed discourse on the remedies prescribed.
The remedies discussed around the theme of 'Unreliable basic support' are:
In connection to these remedies the following subjects are discussed:
-Concepts and themes
In between the discussions of several cases, remedies and themes, many more subjects are discussed. Although the course might look like a materia medica course, the main focus is on the method of understanding substances, case taking and case analysis. The remedies are like beautiful shells on a beach and tend to draw all the attention, but learning how to wash them in from the sea is a far greater goal to achieve. All in all, these notes are very interesting reading material for every homeopath, for the depth of understanding, the themes, the method of analysis, and the remedies that Massimo offers in this course are absolutely outstanding.
