Dear Doctor:
Around Oct 16 in 2008, I had posed a specific question in this webpost, if anyone had practical experience of THIOSINAMINUM remedy for bettering the generals of anybody and if it could have a favorable influence on scar tissue reduction. You were kind enough to respond. Since then I went on a 9 month hiatus and I decided to try out THIOS external ointment on me. I have a deep traumatic surgical wound and scar over my sternum since Oct 2008. My sources of guidance were Boericke & Tafel book, & Clarke's prescriber. I applied the ointment bought from a homeopathic pharmacy once in the morning gently over the long scar. I am happy to report that the scar has considerably reduced (at least 70% and with fresh skin growing over some small sections of the scar. The only downside is that now instead of a long scar, I see a scar broken up into smaller scars with normal skin grown at horizontal intervals across the scar. This is just my experience and obviously I used a homeopathic remedy in a most unhomeopathic way. But I conclude that old timers like Boericke etc included in their repertories or medicas many rare remedies & rubrics probably only after much clinical experience and wisdom. P.S Readers must consult with their health practioners before doing anything similar. .....Thanks....Philip _________________ Philip Joseph |

Dear Philip,
Glad it helped. Another remedy you could think about, even maybe in combination with the one you used is Calendula, as an ointment
be well,

that is peculiar. I have no idea also if there is something more to do about that. But I am happy to hear the thiosin. worked. Be well, Roger _________________ Roger is the author of the Complete Repertory and Repertorium Universale, published in several languages.
