Hi,
Can you please comment on the use of silica in a female that has had breast implant surgery? Is this a contra-indication and does it pose a risk?
Thank you. _________________ Dr. Allison Low |

HI
This is a difficult one. There is no research on this and so I can only speak from personal experience and the clinical experience of other homeopathic practitioners.
I believe that Silica can pose a risk in this situation. I have seen two patients who have developed reactions to their breast implants after taking the remedy Silica. The remedy Silica causes a reaction whereby the body tries to expel or reject foreign tissue.
Warmly,

Hi
Do you know whether the taking of silica has any effect on titanium implants in the mouth?
Kind regards

Yes, I have found in several cases that the usage of the remedy Silica can cause the body to reject the implants. Abscesses can occur, inflammation, and fever. The breast can become, hardened, swollen and painful.
Warmly,
