Commentary

A brief materia medica derived primarily from the works of Boger, with additions. "He [Boger] has given clues in his Synoptic Key for compiling such books. With my poor intellect and limited knowledge of homeopathy, I have tried to fulfill his wish. How far I am successful in my attempt, only time will show." Republished in the UK in 1988. While most practitioners in the USA who wanted a small "pocket manual" often chose the Boericke work, many in the UK preferred the Phatak work. In a comparison between them one may find Phatak to be a bit more readable. Those who have used it say that the summaries he presents of the remedies contain useful details that are not found in Boericke's.
